Buscemi also known as Dirk Swartenbroeckx is a permanent artist within the circuit. His style is deep and difficult to put in a category. Nu-bossa, nu-lounge, house, Brazilian grooves, Afro Beat, drum'n bass, using these genres he makes warm sets. Dance music with a Latin feel is probably the best description.

Buscemi released 4 albums, 9 EP's and a few compilations. His style was praised by successful artists such as Kruder &Dorfmeister DJ Orpheus and Gilles Peterson. This man from Lommel hates dividing music in genres and he really feels good when he makes remixes of Belgian acts such as Hooverphonic, Laîs, An Pierlé and Magnus, but also Calexico, Nicola Conté and Madredeus belong to the list. He will be coming for the fourth time to do a DJ set with Squadra Bossa at the festival.
