Fritz Fitzke: The 16 F***king Years Anniversary Session

The Austrian duo Kruder & Dorfmeister are primarily known for their downtempo remixes of trip-hop, hip-hop, pop and drum ‘n’ bass tracks. Often spiced with boss nova and jazz influences, most of their famed remixes are from  Roni Size’s ‘Heroes’ or Depeche Mode’s ‘Useless’ on the double album K&D Sessions. It has been 12 years since the K&D Sessions discs were released. These recordings became widely regarded as an electronic music milestone. It immediately launched chill out and lounge music to new levels. Kruder & Dorfmeister had set very high standards and rarely have others reached the same quality in the genre. After the album’s debut almost the entire music world stood at their door begging for a remix but they rejected nearly everyone. The time was ripe for other projects.

In 1993 K&D  began their own record label, G-Stone. After the K&D Sessions they each went their own way with individual musical projects. Richard Dorfmeister, together with Rupert Huber, worked  under the name Tosca. Peter Kruder started his own project called Peace Orchestra. He also was known to release music via the name Voom:Voom. After all these years, the two are reunited as Kruder & Dorfmeister! For the occasion they will bring along two MC’s for a concert that will be shining bright with brand new visuals. Or like they announce it themselves: Kruder & Dorfmeister feat. MC Earl Zinger &  Ras MC T- Weed, Visuals by Fritz Fitzke: The 16 F***king Years Anniversary Session.
